Preparations for an Airport Pickup

Today was a working day. After my long day in Aalen yesterday, it was a long day. I woke up and got ready, like normal, only to find that there was a bug on the ledge by my sink. What a way to start a day! After taking care of the bug, I went on with my day.

My day was spent doing office-ey things. I corrected a few spread sheets, learned about a program that our office does, and did what I was told!

Over my wonderful two hour break, I was making my lunch and happened to run into my Hausmeister! I told him about how my poor bike had popped a wheel. He let me know that as soon as another student was finished with another bike that he would let me know :) Before I could also let him know about the hail damage to my blinds (the ones that allow pretty much any passer-by a view into my room), I saw him taking pictures of the damage. He was a step ahead of me!

I went back to work, and during my downtime, I got a chance to check the bus schedule/train schedule for when I pick up my best friend's boyfriend from the airport tomorrow night. It was a bit inconvenient since the X3 bus doesn't run very late on the week days, but I would make it work.

After the last two hours of my shift, I headed back to my room for a quiet evening. I ended up reading my Mortal Instruments series and making a new recipe. Bruchetta chicken was on the menu for the night, and it was surprisingly delicious! It was a Hunts recipe and it ended up turning out to be one of the best online recipes I have ever made.

I'm hoping to be in bed early tonight, particularly since I need to be awake late tomorrow night to pick up Eric from the airport! :)

P.S. Don't worry, of course I am still trying to figure out my loan situation! It has been a lot more difficult than what I was told. Here is to hoping that everything gets better.
